I think it would be cool to have a `friends` list. where u could add friends and stuff. u could still talk to everybody, but have your own friends list, kinda like facebook, myspace, etcetera.
well it wouldn't be bad if you for example could choose a list of people who can still talk to you lets say when you have private qn's off or things like that? like you turn them off, but people in your friends list are not included

I like that idea especially for voicemale. Every time I want to send a voicemail to someone I have to look up there ID number. Let's say you send the same people voicemails etc, or you just want to have a friends list? Hmm. Not sure how easy that would be to implament though, other than to say an idea would be that just as on the site, a friends list on Zone BBS by phone could be in order according to ID number.

The biggest problem that I can see with what nocturnal resurrection is suggesting, aside from the fact that we don't like the idea of the Zone going down the whole friends list route anyway, is that if you did something like that how would people respond if they didn't have public quicknotes turned off. I mean they would see a message from somebody on their friends list, but when they responded that message would either have to go public or directly to the person that sent the message and I don't see a way that you could send a message to multiple people, without making it a public message.
If it could be done at all I think the quicknote system would need quite an extensive overhaul, and that's really not going to happen given that, as I've already stated, we don't want to go down that route anyway.
I believe Chris is giving some thought to a friends list for the phone system, but you'd have to wait for him to comment further on that as I'm not privy to the details.
